Supersize Vs. Superskinny

This documentary follows the lifestyles of two extreme eaters – one very overweight and the other severely underweight. The two are brought into a feeding clinic and live together for 5 days while they swap diets in attempt to change the way in which they view food and eating.  There has so far been 3 of these Supersize Vs. Skinny documentary series broadcasted on Channel 4, while the 4th series is due to be broadcasted later on this year. Supersize vs Superskinny KIDS

Supersize vs Superskinny Kids is an offshoot from the original documentaries of Supersize vs Superskinny. Here Dr Christian Jessen and dietician Ursula Philpot tackle the nation’s over and under weight kids, giving families nutritional advice as they confront the truth about their diets. This comes mainly from the discovery that while the UK has Europe’s highest number of obese kids (with one in every six children affected), the number of children with anorexia has almost doubled in the last decade. The series is perhaps even more controversial than the original, considering the subjects of the documentary are young adults/children, thus the extremes it presents are even more shocking.
